Map Presentation:

Land-Madness is a  very open land map that allows aggressive gameplay. Early aggression is common, as players often try to raid each other’s economies to gain an early advantage. This map is perfect for Feudal Age enjoyers who love fast-paced action.

If you’re a high-level player, I recommend checking out the advanced guide for in-depth strategies and advanced insights where you can have good advices especially starting in the castle age which will be more adapted to land-madness.

  • Practice your Dark Age efficiency and stick to a solid build order.

  • Push as many deers as possible until you click up to the feudal age, I recommend watching my double deer push tutorial.
  • Stay on 1 lumbercamp early on, woodlines are good enough.

  • Wall your camps on the way to the feudal age.
  • Never idle your Town Center, except for some army upgrades just before a big fight.

  • Take resources near from each other, ideally those located toward the back of your base.

  • Scout your opponent well and adapt your strategy accordingly.

  • Play to your civilization’s strengths to pick the right units early on.

  • Don’t hesitate to build a defensive tower in Feudal Age, dying with 200 stone in the bank is a waste!

  • In Castle Age, play for map control and punish greedy booms with a lot of raidings and forward castles.

  • Use castles to control key hills as the game progresses.
