Map Presentation:

Accropolis is a open land map that allows aggressive gameplay as it’s very hard to wall and the good woodlines are exposed. Early aggression is common, as players often try to raid each other’s economies to gain an early advantage. This map is perfect for Feudal Age enjoyers who love fast-paced action.

  • Practice your Dark Age efficiency and stick to a solid build order.

  • Play on 1 lumbercamp for a while so it’s easier to defend
  • Prioritize managing your own economy over damaging your opponent’s.
  • Never idle your Town Center.

  • Take the wood in the middle of the map even if it looks far

  • Wall your woodline in the middle making a cage

  • Scout your opponent well and adapt your strategy accordingly.

  • Make a lot of army with upgrades.

  • Make a defensive tower on your woodline.

  • Don’t hesitate to take stone for more defensive towers
  • In Castle Age, play for map control and raids and punish greedy booms with a forward castle on his exposed economy.

  • Expand to the middle of the map once the map control is secured, go to the spot where there is more space and avoid building under your opponent’s hill
  • Use castles to control the middle as the game progresses.

  • Make outposts all over the map once your eco is setup in the castle age.

Recommended Build Orders:

For Low ELO Players:

For Mid ELO Players:

For High ELO Players:

Suggested Gameplan:

Civilization: Tatars

Dark Age:

  • Focus on executing your build order.

  • Scout your map properly to find key resources and walling potential.

Feudal Age:

  • Complete your build order and start walling your base once your main goal is achieved.

  • Add counter units based on what your opponent is creating.

Castle Age:

  • Build a second Town Center on a good woodline, treat it like a large lumber camp.

  • Stick to two Town Centers to maintain military pressure.

  • Add more counter units as needed.

  • Take map control and put pressure on the front of your opponent’s base.

  • Once you gain map control, take a lot of stone and look to drop a forward castle near your opponent to hit his base, it could be in the middle of the map if he has a town center there which is really likely.
