Free Elo Strategy: Dominate with Khmers

Do you dream of winning all your games effortlessly, without needing to adapt to your opponent’s strategy? This guide is perfect for you, allowing you to dominate your opponents while not having to worry about your own defense.

Map: Arabia / Open Land Maps
Civilization: Khmers

Strategy: 23 Population (22 Villagers + 1 Scout) Fast Castle into Knights and Scorpions

Note: You can adjust this build order by adding +1 or +2 villagers in the Dark Age if you’re struggling or unable to push deers. Simply add one extra farm per additional villager.

Dark Age:

  1. Start with 3 Villagers on Wood
  2. Send 6 Villagers to Berries
  3. Build 2 Farms as Early as Possible
  4. Send the next 4 Villagers to Gold (starting with your 19th villager)
  5. Place Extra Houses near your Lumber Camp and Gold
  6. Bring in your Deers and Boars Early 

Feudal Age Transition:

  1. Collect 50 Stone with 5 Villagers, then return them to food collection
  2. Wall your Wood and Gold (including a house that can act as a gate for your villagers, as Khmer can garrison inside)
  3. Prepare to click up to the Castle Age immediately, as Khmer can advance to Castle Age without building a Market

Castle Age Transition:

  1. Send your Berries Villagers to Straggler Trees for better safety
  2. Send a Villager Forward near the side of your opponent’s base to build a sneaky Siege Workshop. If your opponent stops you, build it at home instead.
  3. Have 9 Villagers on Wood near the Lumber Camp
  4. Have 7 Villagers on Gold
  5. Build a Tower on Gold and a Tower on Wood, both inside your walls for defense
  6. Research the Wood Upgrade
  7. Build a Stable
  8. Aim for 200 Wood in your bank to build the Siege Workshop instantly. Use any extra wood to make additional farms.

Castle Age:

  1. New Villagers should go to Straggler Trees
  2. Produce Knights to start applying pressure
  3. Build a Siege Workshop and begin producing Scorpions
  4. Create Extra Farms with the additional wood from your Villagers on Straggler Trees
  5. Attack your Opponent’s Base with Knights and Scorpions
  6. Make a Ram slightly later to begin pushing down buildings
  7. Train Monks to heal your Knights during the attack

With this strategy, you can effectively put pressure on your opponent with minimal defense, making it easier to win games without overcomplicating your play. Enjoy your Free Elo!
